In a quiet backyard that looked way too peaceful for what was about to happen, there were two empty chairs, two bicycles leaning awkwardly against a fence, and a small fire burning in the middle like it had been invited but forgot the rules. A bit of smoke curled into the air, slow and dramatic, like it was auditioning for a mystery movie.
Nobody was sitting in the chairs. Nobody was riding the bikes. Everything was just… suspiciously arranged, like a scene someone paused and never pressed play on again.
The fire crackled softly, completely unbothered by the fact that it had no clear purpose other than existing and making the situation look slightly illegal. Then, from a distance, sirens broke the silence.
A fire department truck arrived with full urgency lights flashing, brakes screeching, and boots ready for action. The team jumped out, fully prepared for chaos, disaster, or at least something that made sense.
They looked at the backyard. Two chairs. Two bicycles. One small fire.
Zero humans doing anything helpful.
One firefighter tilted their head like the scene had just broken their brain. Another slowly checked notes as if the backyard might suddenly explain itself. The fire, meanwhile, continued its tiny performance like it was proud of the attention.
After a long, confused pause, one question seemed to hang in the air: “Is this… a party? A ritual? A very lazy camping attempt?” No one answered.
The fire department stood there, completely unsure if they had saved the day or interrupted it.
